James Gibson

James D. Gibson was born April 6, 1962 to the late James E. and Faye L. Plant Gibson. He passed away May 8, 2022 at the age of 60 after a battle with cancer.  James worked as a maintenance man at 50 Oaks Apartment Complex in Rockport, Tx. James was always a good man and was always ready to help others that needed it and expected nothing in return.

He is survived by his children, Austin T. Gibson of Borne, Michael J. Gibson of Rockport, Stacy Gibson of Victoria and Catherine Gibson; sister, Virginia Cantu and brother Willie Gibson. He was preceded in the death by his parents; son, James  E. Gibson; sisters, Brenda Gibson and Debra Gibson.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at Wheeler Funeral Home at 12 noon on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
