Viola Hernandez

Viola Hernandez, aged 70, passed away peacefully in her home on November 7, 2025. Born in Port Lavaca, Texas, on August 4, 1955, to Maria Anita Salinas Manzano and Jose Angel Manzano, both of whom preceded her in death. Viola dedicated her life to caring for others through her work as a CNA and housekeeper at Hillje Nursing Home, as well as serving as a custodian for Wharton ISD. She found joy in crocheting and challenging herself with Word Search puzzles.

Viola is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Angelica Lee Hernandez, Dregan A. Hernandez, and Sully J. Hernandez; her great-grandson, Baki Robstin Hernandez-Dixon; her sisters, Dalia Soto and Hermelinda Moore; her brothers, Juan Manuel Manzano and Juan Jose Manzano and cherished by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved sons, Robert Lee Hernandez and Justin Ray Hernandez.
