SENAYDA HERRERA

Senayda Herrera,74, of El Campo entered Heavens gates on April 5,2026. She was born on September 8, 1951 in Crescent to the late Arthuro and Maria Gutierrez. Senayda was homemaker for most of her life, her true purpose was caring for her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Herrera of El Campo; sons William Ortiz Jr. of Richmond and Clint Ortiz of Forth Worth; grandchildren, Jasmine Ortiz, Jennifer Ortiz, William Ortiz III, Chancey Ortiz of Richmond, Elizabeth Ortiz of South Dakota Aaron Ortiz, Andres Ortiz, Danielle Ortiz of Fort Worth; sisters, Sara Sanchez, Lupe Gonzales, Juanita Vallejo of El Campo; brother Seferino Gutierrez of Houston; with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Celia Alamaguer, Sabina Gutierrez, Simona Almeda, Isabell Ibarra; brothers Servando Gutierrez, Severanio Gutierrez, and Celesteino Gutierrez.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Ortiz, Andres Ortiz, William Oritz III, Juan Guajardo, Ruben Garza, Ronnie Manciaz.

Family will receive visitors from 10 am until 11 am on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Wheeler Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11 am with burial to follow at LaColonia Cemetery..
