Robert Lee Escamilla or Vaca as he was known by many passed away on November 27 in El Campo at the age of 71. He was born on August 17, 1952 to the late Gilberto Escamilla and Connie Vargas.
He is survived by his 3 children. Robert Daniel Escamilla and his wife Sylvia, Nancy Escamilla, Patricia Escamilla, Brothers Gilbert Escamilla Jr. and wife JoAnn, Mario Escamilla and Lupe Collins, Manuel Escamilla, Mark Vargas, sister Sandra Carrion and Husband Fred, Debbie Escamilla, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 25 years Modesta Escamilla, his parents, his sister Carol Contreras, and his brother Arnold Escamilla.
Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am Thursday, December 14, 2023 followed by Memorial mass at 10:00 am at St. Robert's Catholic Church in El Campo, TX.
Burial will follow at Wharton City Cemetery at 11:30 am.
