Rickey Welch

Rickey Lee Welch, age 56 of El Campo passed away June 21, 2018 in El Campo. He was born August 26, 1961 in Abilene to Lee Riley Welch and Ruby Shifflett Welch. He was a retired x-ray technician at M.D. Anderson Hospital.

He is survived by his wife Donna Welch; daughters, Leigh Ann Welch, Lauren Welch, Logan Welch; and was anxiously awaiting the birth of his first grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lance Welch.

Visitation begins at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wheeler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church with Pastor James White officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kullen and Kurtis Krejci, Dennis, David and Dustin Shifflett, Charles Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Lamesky, Ashley Rooth, Kylie Forte, Kevin and Patrick Garcia.

At the request of the family memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church or M D Anderson Cancer Center.
