Odilia Barrera
Odilia Barrera passed away May 11, 2019 in El Campo at the age of 88. She was born June 9, 1930 in Charco, and is the oldest child born to the late Onesimo and Sofia Caberra Ramirez.
She is survived by her only son, John Barrera of El Campo; grandchildren, Jonathon Barrera of El Campo, Lillian Barrera of Manhattan; siblings, Hortensia Aguilar, Ornestico Ramirez, Norma Starkweather, Paul Ramirez and Mary Frances Zouzoulas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Barrera and sister, Olga Ramirez Munguia.
"Lilly" was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister who is now home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Visitation will begin at at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Wheeler Funeral Home with the Rosary being recited at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 16 at St. Robert's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home.
