Mary Ramirez

Mary E. Ramirez, 83, of El Campo passed away May 14, 2018. She was born Sept. 29, 1934 in Rosenberg to Rosalio and Angelita Rivas Escobar.

She is survived by her son, Abraham Rios Sr.(LaLa); daughter, Mary R. Ramirez (Gilbert); brothers, Charlie Escobar, Jesse Escobar, Tim Escobar and Raymond Escobar; sister, Angelita E. Godino; grandchildren, Gilbert Ray Ramirez (Nora), Patrick Rios, Jeremy Ramirez (Monica) and Jessica Rios Molina; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Reynaldo Ramirez.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 17 at Wheeler Funeral Home with Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 18 at St. Robert's Catholic Church in El Campo.

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wally Escobar Sr., Wesley Escobar, , Patrick Rios, Sr.,Gilbert Ray Ramirez and Jeremy Ramirez, Jesse Escobar Jr. . Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Rios Jr. Tim Escobar, Pete Escobar.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home, El Campo.
