Linda Lea Perks

Linda Lea Perks, 76, lovingly known as Nana of El Campo, Tx danced thru the pearly gates on June 15, 2023 greeted by the love of her life in heaven. The celebration of life will be held at Wheeler Funeral Home in El Campo, Tx, Tuesday June 20th 2023 at 05:30pm. Linda Lea Perks was born May 14th, 1947 to Fredrick Arthur Kerns and Irene Ida Belyo in Tacoma Washington. She grew up in New Jersery where she met and married the late Herbert Perks in 1975.  Together they had one son, Henry Adam Perks, before moving to Texas where they'd build a life together.

Linda worked many years as a seamstress at IC Manufacturing, before retiring to be a devoted homemaker, wife, mom, and Nana. She enjoyed spending her time with her son, husband and family. Her days were filled with shopping trips with the girls, manis and pedis, lunch dates with her husband, and trips to the casino. Linda was always the light and life of the party with her million dollar smile, and quick witted conversation.

In life, Linda is survived by her son, Adam Perks and wife Janet of El Campo. Her granddaughter Amber Marie Compian and husband Aaron Compian of Wharton Tx. Her granddaughter Ashley Perks LeBouef and husband Dylan LeBouef, great grandchildren Dayton LeBouef and Abigail LeBouef of El Campo. Step grandson Koty Graham and wife Carlie and children of Ganado, Tx. Step grandson Joshua Graham and daughters. Step grandson Brandon Sherrill. Step grandson Tyson Sherrill and son. Linda's sister Sharon Davis of Las Vegas. Sisters Candace, Catheline, and nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by Linda's late husband Herbert F. Perks, brother Fredrick Kerns lll, and her parents.
