Listen to Obituary

Judith (Judy) Elaine Parker went to be with her Lord at 5:50 a.m. on June 15 in Lake Jackson, Texas. She was 88 years young. Judy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.

Judy was born on February 27, 1938, in El Campo, Texas, to Arena and Charles Bacak. She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald Parker; her son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Rachel Gill; her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Austin and Taylor Gill; her great-great-granddaughter, Emire Gill; and her two sisters, Margaret Wilke and Doris Weaver.

Judy had a wonderful professional career that ranged from working for Roy Rogers to construction administration, culminating in a role with the Harris County Tax Assessor’s Office.

Judy loved to dance; in fact, that is where she met the love of her life, Donald.

She will be missed greatly, but we find comfort in knowing that she is with Jesus and back in her mother’s arms.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the First Baptist Church, 101 San Bernard Street, in Brazoria, Texas, with a Celebration of Life Service starting at 10:30 AM, with Pastor Craig Smith, officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in El Campo, Texas.
