Johnny Alaniz

Johnny Alaniz, of Richardson and formerly of Victoria, passed away August 6, 2018 in Richardson, TX.

He was born July 23, 1944 in El Campo to the late Alfredo and Margarita Martinez Alaniz.

He is survived by wife, Hilda Garcia Alaniz of Victoria; son, John Alaniz of Victoria; daughters, Mary Helen Anaya of Houston, Annette Alaniz of Garland; grandchildren, Alexia, Jacob and Jared Alaniz, Rose, Stefany, Adan and Javier Juarez, Christina, Christopher and Angel Anaya; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Ricky and Joe Alaniz; sisters, Mary Triston, Dora Alaniz, Carmen Gonzalez, Maggie McCullough, Janie Guel, Anita Contreras, Adela Samaripa. He was preceded in death by brothers, Paul, Raymond, Alfredo, Jr., Emellio, David, Frank and Ruben Alanaiz; sisters, Sylvia and Sarah Alaniz.

Rosary will begin at 1:30 PM Friday at St. Robert's Catholic Church with mass beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Payne Community Cemetery
