Javier Aguilar Brito

October 24, 1979 — April 5, 2024

Louise

Back in 2006, I was a new immigrant in this country, I didn’t know any English, and back then I thought I never would. I was homesick, so I decided to join a soccer team with some girls. So one day in the summer of 2007 I noticed this tall guy watching the game on the side of the soccer field. He stood out to me because he was tall and had these big beautiful eyes. His eyes were the first thing I love about Javier. I found out later that he came to our games to see me so I decided to give him my home phone number and on September 15, 2007 he asked me to be his girlfriend.

Javier motivated me to keep learning and stay in school, we dated for three years and on October 22nd, 2010, and we decided to start a family, exactly two days before his 31st birthday.

I had the privilege of being his wife and to have him as the father of our three kids. The most beautiful present he gave was the love he gave us. This only comes once in a lifetime, because I know nobody can ever love us that way.

I don’t understand so much right now but I’m grateful I got to feel loved the way I did with Javier. He was an amazing son, father, brother, nephew and friend. I am certain he would be missed by all of us who truly got the opportunity to know him and his heart.

I hope one day I can see those big beautiful eyes looking at me again. Until then I have to stay here and finish our biggest plan, and although I know this is going to be hard, I pray one day I can do a great job and one day see our kids become amazing human beings just like their daddy.

That was our biggest plan and I promise I will make it come true.

Javier is survived by his wife, three children, parents, grandmother, two brothers and two sisters, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
