A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, faithful sister and daughter, and a God-fearing woman — these are just a few of the qualities that describe Ida Moreno. To know Ida was to experience unconditional love, steadfast faith, and a heart that always put others first.
Ida was the heartbeat of her family. She loved deeply and selflessly, and her life reflected Christ’s love — patient, kind, forgiving, and strong. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and lived her faith daily, trusting Him in every season. She often reminded her family that this world is temporary and that true life begins in the Kingdom of Heaven.
She was fearless in her love for her children and grandchildren. Proudly known as “NeeNee,” she treasured every moment with them, pouring wisdom, warmth, and prayer into their lives.
Ida was a devoted wife to her husband of 43 years, Darryl Moreno. Their marriage was rooted in Christ and filled with love, laughter, and strong values. She found joy in life’s simple blessings, especially gardening and sitting under the breezeway birdwatching with a peaceful smile, simply enjoying God’s creation.
Her strength was quiet but powerful. She prayed faithfully, loved without condition, and encouraged without judgment. Though our hearts ache, we rejoice knowing she is at peace in the presence of her Savior.
Ida is survived by her husband, Darryl Moreno; her children, Jana Moreno, Dana Moreno (Gabriel Meza), and Christopher Moreno; her five grandchildren, Kobe, Leilani, Mason, Micah, and Carter; and her siblings, Jesse (Isabel) Fuentes, Ruben (Yolanda) Delgado, Albert (Rita) Delgado, and Neyda Adams. She was preceded in death by her sister, Viola Fuentes Rodriguez; brother-in-law, James Adams; and her parents, Rogerio and Elida Delgado.
Her legacy of faith, devotion, and unconditional love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her until the day they meet again.
