Ariana Alexis Gonzales

Ariana Alexis Gonzales, 22, of Houston, passed away on June 8, 2024. Ariana was born on December 22, 2001, in Wharton, Texas to Johnny Edward Gonzales, Jr., and Cristina Chacon Gonzales. She graduated from El Campo High School, Class of 2020 where she was president of the choir and member of the cross country team. In her free time she enjoyed drawing, listening to music, singing, and running; but had a special love for animals especially her dog, Luna, and cat, Ponyo.

She is survived by her parents; Cristina and Johnny Gonzales, Jr.; Sister, Nevaeh Gonzales. Maternal grandparents; Francisco and Lucia Chacon of San Antonio; paternal grandparents; Johnny, Sr. and Brenda Gonzales of Hungerford and a paternal great grandparent; Maria Smith of California. Aunt; Denise Chacon-McBride and husband Kyle. Uncles; Andy Gonzales and wife Sarah; David Gonzales, and Frank Rose.

Ariana was preceded in death by; Paternal great grandparents Pete and Margie Galvan and Augustine Gonzales; maternal great grandparents Maria Rangel; Francisco and Sara Chacon; paternal great-great grandparents, Leonor Hernandez, and a paternal great uncle; Bobby Galvan.

Gathering of family and friends will be from 2 until 4 pm on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Wheeler Funeral Home Chapel.
