It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of Annie D. Perez, 83 on September 10th, 2026. Annie was born on October 23rd 1942 in El Campo. A child in a family of 7 children. She was one of the first amongst her family to get an education and succeed in being an independent career woman. She was devoted and driven by her boundless love for her family. Everything she did in life she did for her family, her son and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Gavina Diaz and her siblings Felicita Rodriguez, Martha Castro, Elizabeth Diaz, Josephine Sanchez and Jimmy Diaz. She is survived by her sister Fidela Diaz, son Joseph Perez, daughter-in-law Eve Quinones and grandchildren David Quinones, Christian Quinones and Jacob Perez. She will be missed by all whose lives she had touched.

Family will receive friends from 5 PM - 6 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at the Wheeler Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosaary will be recleited at 6 PM.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 10 AM on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in the chapel of the Wheeler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the La Colonia Cemetery in El Campo. Texas.
